About : Dr. Ravin earned a BSc in Chiropractic from International Medical University (IMU) and a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management from Open University Malaysia. He has been practising as a chiropractor at TAGS Cheras and acts as the Director of Chiropractic Services for Tonik Asia Group Sdn Bhd.
He has been certified in The Scroth Best Practice Program in conservative management of Scoliosis and other spinal deformities along with Trigger Point Dry Needling therapy for pain management and sports injuries. Due to his personal interest in sports injury management, he has also received certification in managing upper and lower extremity injuries in sports chiropractic by the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.
Currently, Dr Ravin is also working as a part-time clinical preceptor at International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur for the final year students enrolled in the chiropractic internship programme.
Dr. Ravin is the Assistant Secretary for the Association of Chiropractic, Malaysia (ACM) and has been active in raising awareness about chiropractic as an alternative treatment in healthcare.
He has written articles for the Tamil newspaper, Nanban Daily Newspaper, and has been invited to speak about chiropractic on the local Tamil radio station, RTM Minnal FM, and Astro THR Raaga FM, which has given him platforms to share about how chiropractic treatment can be incredibly beneficial to those with common spine and joint conditions.
