About : Fanny Tan is a certified physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor (Hons) of Physiotherapy at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in October 2016. She gained clinical placements experiences while pursuing her studies in UTAR at various sites includes Rumah Seri Kembangan, Hospital Serdang, Hospital Sungai Buloh, Hospital Kajang, Hospital Putrajaya, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun and Yayasan Sultan Idris Shah, Perak. During these clinical placements, she had the opportunity to be exposed to various conditions such as musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurology, paediatrics, women’s health, intensive care unit and spinal care, orthopaedic and geriatric rehabilitation.
She joined the TAGS group in family in 2018 and is currently based in TAGS Kuching. In May 2019, she completed the lower limb biomechanics training cum seminar by Tonik Asia group and has attended multiple workshops and seminars which includes MASM Shoulder 2 Too Loose, Dietary & Exercise Approach in Weight Loss, Going Back to Work after a Stroke, Ankle Injury Management- from POLICE to PEACE & LOVE and New Concept of Scoliosis. In 2022, she attended Dry Needling Programme (GEMT).
Fanny believes the role Physiotherapy role involves continuous learning and personal development. Hence she strives by attending workshops to gain new skills and knowledge to constantly renew her motivation and confidence level.
